Porto Pino

The beaches
The bay of Porto Pino has two beaches, traditionally called First Beach and Second Beach. The First Beach is located opposite the village and is structured to meet the needs of tourism: beach umbrellas, bars, sports equipment.
The Second Beach is a natural spectacle reminiscent of the desert or the moon. The dazzling white sand is bordered by dunes, the shoreline there are many shells and fragments of coral, the bank that color of pink.
Nearby, in Porto Pinetto, there is the Port Pineddu Beach, the beach of the French and a series of bays and coves.
The lagoon
The lagoon of Porto Pino is formed by some of the lakes inhabited by pink flamingos, cormorants and many species of animals and plants.
The Pinewood Candiani
Pines and junipers form an intense green lung. The area was named Candiani by the name of the antiship battery located here during the Second World War, a system of bunkers and trenches, still open for guided adventures.
The depths
The depths of Porto Pino are full of color and life. In Porto Pino there is a chance to dive tours, the less experienced can still appreciate the wonders of sea snorkelling.
